MISCONCEPTIONS IN Homeopathy 2
FEAR OF INITIAL AGGRAVATION
Truth: This is the most prevalent myth that prevents people from beginning homeopathic treatment. It is true that some diseases have an early tendency to spread. The explanation that follows will aid in clearing this misunderstanding. Patients who seek homeopathic treatment typically do so after years of self-treatment with conventional allopathic medicine. Due to this, the patients are dependent on their medications to survive. When one stops using these allopathic treatments, the condition will inevitably worsen, even if it is running its natural course. Therefore, it is typically seen that one cannot quit the ongoing allopathic medications quickly in specific circumstances such as skin illnesses, joint discomfort, and bronchial asthma. Without or with homeopathic medications, symptoms will inevitably worsen if one tries to cease. A homeopathic doctor should take note of the disease's initial escalation. It suggests that this aggravation will be followed by an improvement. But if you know this ahead of time, you'll not only instill a strong belief in homeopathy but also assist the patient feel more confident. There is no reason for concern on the part of the patient because this aggravation only lasts a relatively brief time during acute illness. However, depending on the disease being treated, this can persist for a while in chronic situations. In homeopathy, the medicine is similar in nature to the illness force, so there emerges a worsening of the disease after taking the medicine, according to the explanation given. This is because the medicinal force must be stronger than the illness force to eradicate the sickness. Homeopathic treatments also work from the inside out, thus it makes sense that an aggravation would occur after beginning them even in cases when the disease had been subdued by other means.
INCREASES BLOOD SUGAR IN DIABETIC PATIENTS
Truth: Homeopathic medicines are dispensed in the form of pills that are made of sacrum lactose. Because of the sweet flavor of these pills, many of my patients ask me if it would cause an increase in blood sugar. However, the typical dosage recommended for a patient is a maximum of 4 pills three times, which is quite minimal and will never raise blood sugar in a diabetic patient. The amount is so negligible that it won't even add up to one teaspoon of sugar. Therefore, diabetic patients receiving homeopathic treatment shouldn't be concerned about a rise in blood sugar brought on by the drug.
NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN
Children should not use homeopathic medications. This is just another myth. Homeopathy, on the other hand, is by far the best treatment a child may receive. The benefits include no side effects, quick healing, a natural boost to immune function, no appetite loss, easy administration because the pills are tasty, and kids seem to appreciate them. So even a one-day-old baby can be treated very well with homeopathic medicines. Homeopathy is the most effective form of treatment for a variety of pediatric illnesses, including skin manifestations, bronchitis, asthma, colitis, behavioral changes, fears and phobias, bedwetting, teething issues, diarrhea, tonsillitis, recurrent colds, febrile convulsions, lactose intolerance, and delayed milestones (delay in walking, speaking, or teething).
